Sunday morning's Scottish Cup draw has given north sides a big incentive to try and progress through this week's reschuduled matches.
Elgin City could face Keith in an all-Moray match, providing both clubs overcome Ayr United and Clyde respectively when their second round games get played.
Buckie Thistle are aiming to spoil the party for another Highland derby, as they stand in the way of Caley Thistle playing Ross County at the next stage.
Huntly head to Dumbarton on Wednesday night knowing if they can pull off a victory, they will host Aberdeen in the third round.
And if Nairn County can defeat Montrose, it will guarantee one Highland league team in the last sixteen as they would then visit Fraserburgh in the third round.
Formartine United will welcome Premiership Motherwell to North Lodge Park if they can get past Annan Athletic.
Cove Rangers' win at Alloa earned them a plum match at Premiership leaders Rangers.
Celtic are at home to Arbroath or Falkirk.
Brora Rangers are a long way off a home match against Stranraer but that would be their reward if they beat Camelon in the only outstanding first round tie, then manage to beat Hearts in round two.
