HEAVY rain has cast a doubt over the cup final clash between Buckie Thistle and Rothes going ahead this weekend.
Host venue Kynoch Park has been soaked by the incessant downpour on Thursday night.
The Highland League have confirmed that a pitch inspection may be held at Kynoch Park at 10am on Saturday.
A spokesperson said: "Following this week's monsoon conditions in the North East, it has become necessary to conduct a pitch inspection of Kynoch Park to determine whether or not tomorrow's Utilita league Cup Final can go ahead."
"If necessary, a full pitch inspection will take place at 10.00am."
