GORDONSTOUN School plays host to Moray Firth Triathlon Club's annual festival on Sunday.
Clubs from across Scotland will be represented in the three races in the Sprint, Super-sprint and Schools relay competitions.
Club chairman Colin McGregor said: "Unfortunately the event had to be cancelled last year but we are now in a position to hold this popular event again this year.
"For a small club, Moray Firth Triathlon Club punches above its weight.
"One of our members, Steve Sharpe won the Moray Sports personality in 2019 and former members Cameron Main and Sophia Green are competing for Scotland and GB.
"We are especially keen to get a new generation involved in the sport locally and have a schools relay competition included in the festival."
The sprint (aged 15 and over) consists of a 775 m swim in the Gordonstoun pool followed by a 25 km cycle on local roads and ending with a 5 km run within the grounds of the school.
The super- sprint (13 and over) consists of a 275 m swim, a 6 km off road cycle and a 2.4 km run, all within the Gordonstoun grounds.
The schools relay (also 13 and over) follows the same course as the super-sprint with a team member undertaking either the swim, bike or run in a relay.
Sponsorship by Lees Wealth Management means that there is no cost to the school teams to enter the relay.
