Midweek date confirmed for GPH Builders Merchants Highland League Cup quarter-finals as Buckie Thistle and Inverurie Locos set to clash in February

THE quarter-finals of the GPH Builders Merchants Highland League Cup will take place on a Wednesday night in February.

All four ties have been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 23, having been postponed on Saturday December 4 due to the weather.

Three of the four quarter-finals take place in Moray with Buckie Thistle hosting Inverurie Locos and Rothes at home to Fraserburgh in two of the stand-out ties.

Underdogs Forres Mechanics and Clachnacuddin meet at Mosset Park while title challengers Brechin City and Brora Rangers face off at Glebe Park in the other match.

In the event of any further postponement, a tie will be automatically rescheduled to the following Wednesday.
