Meldrum House has welcomed former Manchester United player Ryan Giggs for a stay at the hotel.

On social media it posted that the Welsh man was visiting the area as part of a golf break.

It coincided with the fourth anniversary of the opening of Meldrum House's £4.5 million development which was opened by the former manager of Giggs, Sir Alex Ferguson.

The former player had his photo taken with the plaque that was unveiled during the event in 2016.
