The 59-year-old moved to Lossiemouth from the Dundee area to take charge at Grant park but the appointment hadn’t worked out.

Chairman Alan McIntosh announced in a short club statement that Wolecki Black had left Lossie by mutual consent.

“We would like to thank Eddie for his hard work and wish him all the best for the future.

“Ian Campbell , Steve Porter and Steven Dunn will take charge of the team on an interim basis.”

Wolecki Black became the first full-time coach of a Scottish women’s football team when he took charge of Glasgow City and led them to eight consecutive SWFL titles.

He has also bossed Celtic and Motherwell women’s teams, and in men’s football he managed several sides including Lochee United, who he steered to the Scottish Junior Cup final, and bossed Montrose and Airdrie in the Scottish League.

His first match in charge was a 2-0 league defeat at home to Clach in July.

The Coasters earned a creditable 0-0 draw at Banks o’ Dee in their next match and Wolecki Black steered the club to his only victory in charge against Rothes, a 3-2 success at Grant Park.

His final fixture at the helm was Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat at home to Formartine United.
