Loco's Smith departs for Formartine

Inverurie Loco Works' player Jonny Smith is Pitmedden bound after signing up for fellow Highland League side Formartine United.

In a statement today the club said: "The football club can confirm forward Jonny Smith has joined Formartine United."

Manager Andy Low said: "Jonny leaves with our best wishes and as a friend of the club.

"I’d like to thank him for his contribution since being appointed as the manager, his professionalism and approach has been first class and he will be missed.

"We also wish him well with his business venture that we will continue to support”.
