Seven of the nine matches were won by the away team - Buckie Thistle were the away team on home soil - while Deveronvale were denied a victory on the road by a last minute equaliser.

The only home winners were Lossiemouth who defeated Turriff United 2-1 at Grant Park.

Second half goals by Connor Macaulay and Ryan Sewell saw off second-bottom Turriff, who pulled one back through a late Keir Smith penalty.

Fort William are playing all their home games on the road this season and their new-look side didn't make things easy for title chasers Buckie Thistle.

Sam Urquhart's header was cancelled out by a shock equaliser from one of the Lochaber team's new players, Abdullah Ahmed.

Max Barry managed to restore Jags lead before half time and Urquhart's second of the day and 19th for the season from the penalty spot made it 3-1 before Jack Murray wrapped up the points.

Jags have now won 11 Highland League matches in a row.

Rothes faced a tough trip north to play a Wick Academy side on a run of six straight wins and eight from their last nine outings.

The Caithness side's run looked on course to continue when they led through a Danny Mackay goal, but Ryan McRitchie levelled on the stroke of half time.

Jack Brown's 13th goal of the season won it for the Speysiders in the second half.

Keith made it back-to-back wins with a superb 1-0 victory at Clach, Matty Tough's late goal doing the business for the Maroons.

There was last minute agony for Forres Mechanics in their quest to pick up a first win of Gordon Connelly's managerial reign.

The Cans twice led neighbours Nairn County at Mosset Park, taking the lead through an early Lee Fraser strike which ended a run of five matches without a goal for the Moray side.

Fraser Dingwall quickly levelled, and in a lively start to the second half Paul Brindle regained Mechanics' advantage only for Glenn Main to square it up.

With both teams chasing a winner in the closing minutes it was County who grabbed it courtesy of a Ciaran Young goal in the last minute.

Deveronvale were on course to return to winning ways at Strathspey Thistle when they led through new signing Kyle MacKillop-Hall's second goal in two games on the stroke of half time.

Their lead remained intact until the last minute when Kris Duncan scrambled in a leveller for the Grantown team.

Fraserburgh had to dig deep to earn their fifth win in a row at Huntly and stay six points clear at the summit.

Bryan Hay gave them the lead at Christie Park only for Andy Hunter to equalise on the stroke of half time.

Sean Butcher grabbed a winner for the Buchan men midway through the second half.

Brora Rangers' title aspirations took a real hit when a Ewan Loudon brace landed Brechin City a 2-0 success at Dudgeon Park.

Formartine United are well out of the title picture following a 3-1 loss at home to Inverurie Locos.

Kieran Shanks' 22nd goal of the season and a Rob Ward double saw Locos through with Cole Anderson pulling one back for United.
