Charity gesture by Lossiemouth Football Club with wages and gift donations made in support of Moray Firth Radio Cash for Kids appeal and pledges accepted at Grant Park for Saturday's Highland League match against Buckie Thistle

LOSSIEMOUTH players and management team are giving up part of their Highland League wages this weekend to help disadvantaged children get a better Christmas.
The Grant Park club have also asked players from their fourth youth teams to donate gifts and make a collection for the MFR Cash for Kids charity at tomorrow’s home match against Buckie.
“The boys don’t get paid an awful lot but they are willing to give up part of it for a good cause,” said Lossie assistant manager Ian Campbell. “It’s been a difficult year for everyone, and there’s a lot of kids who don’t get at lot at Christmas so hopefully this can help bring a smile to some of their faces.
“We should get a bigger crowd so that’s why I picked this game.”
The public can also drop gifts off to Grant Park between 2 and 5 tomorrow in aid of the charity appeal.
The Coasters will however be keen to avoid gifting title challengers Buckie any goals, having held another top side Brechin City to 2-0 on Saturday before conceding three late goals for a 5-0 defeat.
“That was the most disappointing part,” said Campbell. “We didn’t finish the game well, but I would say that Brechin are the best team we’ve faced so far this season.”
With loan keepers Logan Ross and Ollie Kelly unavailable last week, Lossie drafted in RAF serviceman Danny Hall for his Highland League debut and Campbell said he played well at Brechin.
Ross returns to face Buckie tomorrow while Ally Bellingham is back in the squad from injury, although centre back Dean Stewart is set to miss out again.
