BUCKIE Thistle have said farewell to one of their squad and transfer-listed another as they seek futures away from Victoria Park.
Both Fergus Edwards and Jack Walker will be plying their trade elsewhere once the Highland League season restarts.
Centre half Edwards's contract with the Jags has expired and has been released by the club.
Sides interested in speaking to him should contact him directly.
Meanwhile Walker, who plays in the central midfield slot, has been made available for transfer by Thistle.
Interested parties should get in touch with Jags manager Graeme Stewart.
The players have been thanked by Buckie Thistle for their service to the club and leave with good wishes for their future career elsewhere.
Comments on the Jags's Facebook page, where the news was announced, also joined in expressing best wishes to the duos as they seek new playing berths.
As to when they and the rest of the Highland League will return to action remains unclear at the time of writing. In common with the rest of Scottish football, the HFL was suspended in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic, before being later officially called to an end.
At present, October appears to be a likely point for the competitive Highland League football to return.
