Inverurie Locos head to Buckie Thistle in GPH Builders Merchants Highland League Cup quarter-finals draw

HIGHLAND League Cup holders Rothes will host league leaders Fraserburgh in the pick of the quarter-final ties.

Thursday's draw for the GPH Builders Merchants Highland League Cup gave all three remaining Moray clubs home ties in the last eight.

The meeting between the current top two in the Highland League will take place at MacKessack Park on Saturday, December 4.

Rothes beat Fraserburgh at Bellslea Park when the teams met in the league this month, a first league loss of the season for Broch.

Buckie Thistle, who beat Nairn 3-0 in the first round, remain at Victoria Park for a quarter-final against Inverurie Locos, who ousted Huntly.

On-form Brechin City thumped Formartine United 5-0 in the last round and now host league champs Brora Rangers, who defeated Wick in a first round derby.

Finally, Forres Mechanics, with new boss Gordon Connelly at the helm, are at home to Clach.
