The centre back, who spent more than a decade in the Highland League with Turriff United before switching to Huntly last year, hasn't featured this term.

Huntly signed Michael Clark from Formartine United and Kyle Dalling from Forfar, filling the centre back berths and leaving Bowden on the bench as an unused sub so far this term.

Manager Allan Hale told the club's website that the player would be missed but understood his desire to play every week.

"I wish to take the opportunity to thank Cammy for his outstanding professionalism, commitment and efforts during his spell with Huntly," said Hale.

"He has had an exemplary career to date and is easily regarded as one of the most respected defenders within the Highland League so I’m sure I speak on behalf of many and say that not only will he be a miss to Huntly but a miss to the Highland League as a whole.

"I, however, need to honour and respect his desire to have regular game time and therefore we have agreed the deal with Bridge of Don.

"On behalf of all at the club we wish Cammy well on his move and for his future.”
