World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) comes to Elgin’s Bishopmill Hall as former WWE star Nina Samuels and ‘wrestling’s most handsome man’ enter the ring
A wrestling league boasting former WWE stars is coming to Moray this week.
This Friday night, Elgin’s Bishopmill Hall plays host to a World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) event billed the ‘Great Winter Bash’.
Every bout will be recorded for popular wrestling streaming service Demand Progress Plus long-running YouTube show Wrestling Showdown, which is published every Sunday at noon.
The W3L is a touring group presenting American-style wrestling events across the UK, featuring former stars of the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and top names from TV and major streaming platforms including the WWE Network.
A Moray audience will be able to see former WWE star and reigning W3L women’s champion Nina Samuels compete in Elgin for the first time as she defends her title against Brodie Adler.
Canada’s Mr Tim Strange defends his Wrestling Showdown Championship in his own Moray debut against
“Irn” Drew Marshall.
And Elgin’s very own wrestling star, Meyhem Brooks will also be back in action as he defends the W3L BreakOut Championship against “Wrestling’s most handsome man” Hugo Harris.
A W3L spokesperson said: “Ever popular with kids and families, for over 20 years we have been bringing the very best in professional wrestling from around the world to towns across the UK.”
