The Maroons will receive a transfer fee and have also signed Formartine striker Luke Emmett as part of the deal.

Former Cove Rangers defender Spink was appointed as Keith's vice-captain by previous manager Dean Donaldson, loyalty for his five years at the club.

But the 23-year-old told current co-managers Andy Roddie and Tommy Wilson he was keen to leave the club.

Keith said on their Facebook page: "At the end of the season Ryan advised the club that he would like a fresh challenge and asked to be put on the transfer list.

"We would like to wish Ryan all the very best with his new club and thank him for the loyal and dedicated service he has given to Keith FC."

Roddie and Wilson have gained a striker as part of the transfer, with 20-year-old Emmett making the switch to Kynoch Park on a two-year deal.

The Maroons management team have already brought in goalkeeper Craig Reid and midfielders Tom Andrews and Mikey Ironside during the close season.
