Elgin City face William Hill League 2 rivals Stirling Albion in Scottish Gas Scottish cup third round while Buckie Thistle face long trip to Annan Athletic





Elgin City will have to ward off a revenge mission in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup.

The Black and Whites will host fellow League 2 side Stirling Albion in the third round of the competition after Sunday’s draw.

City defeated the Binos 3-0 in a recent league clash at Borough Briggs so the visitors will be eager to make amends.

Buckie Thistle landed another away trip and it’s a long one as they head almost as south as you can go in Scotland to take on League 2 Annan Athletic.

There’s strong north interest in the clash between Highland League Banks o’ Dee and Ross County, who were relegated from the Premiership last season.

Of the remaining Highland League sides, Clach face a tough one away to league 1 leaders Stenhousemuir.

And Turriff United also have a difficult away match against Championship title contenders Ayr United.

Brechin City make the short trip to Kelty Hearts and Caley Thistle will visit Lowland League Tranent.
