Ellon Netball girls get local boost

Ellon Girls U15 netball team have received a timely boost after being handed a £350 donation from the Middleton Trust.

Having topped their section in the Scottish Youth Cup with wins over Buchan (53-34), Inverness Juniors (37-4), and Newtonhill (43-16), Ellon now progress to the Last 16 knockout phase and could be drawn against one of Scotland's top youth clubs for the January tie.

Presenting the cheque to team captain Bethany Fraser was the Trust's Estelle Bain.
