Dominica international striker joins Formartine United

Formartine United have announced the signing of striker Julian Wade.

He has signed on a pre-contract agreement and will join North Lodge Park in June when his contract with Brechin City expires.

Wade (31) is a Dominica international and is the Caribbean country's all-time record goal scorer with 19 Goals in 41 appearances.

As well as City he has had spells at clubs in Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Guadeloupe.

He said: "I am excited to sign for Formartine United. I’ve enjoyed my time in the Highland League.

"It is a very competitive league and hopefully I can help bring success to the club.”

Wade is United manager Stuart Anderson’s first signing in preparation for the upcoming Highland League season.
