Cuminestown United has been backed for the new season of the North East Scotland Football Association's welfare league.

The team's new strips have been sponsored by Turriff whisky and spirits store Barrels and Botanicals.

They have also been supported by North East Boiler Sales and Services and Turriff Printing Services, which have supplied training balls.

Co-manager Steve Acott said: "During the uncertain times of the pandemic it was difficult to imagine when we would be able to play football again.

"We are so appreciative of the local community which has got behind the team.

"The new kit and training balls supplied will take us a step nearer to our aspirations."
