Huntly swoop on Highland League rivals Brechin City for a second time to land attacking midfielder Scott Logan on pre-contract deal
A Highland League club has made a second transfer swoop on a rival outfit.
Huntly have completed the signing of teenager Scott Logan from Brechin City on a pre-contract.
The Christie Park men will also bring in goalkeeper Lenny Wilson on the completion of his Brechin contract, as well as capturing attacking ex-Formartine United midfielder Callum Youngson.
“It’s been no secret we have wanted to add more firepower to an already exciting front line and taking Scott in does just that,” manager Colin Charlesworth said on the club’s website.
“He’s versatile and can play anywhere in midfield but is a very gifted winger.
“We have pace and power in the team, but Scott brings a different style to the club which will enhance our options going forward and give us a different dimension in attack.
“He is also another one that has played at the top end of the league where the demand to win every week is a given and he will bring that mentality with him.
“Scott’s eagerness to sign for Huntly was refreshing and I’m excited to welcome him to the club.”
