THE big match of the Highland League weekend has been postponed.
Buckie Thistle were hoping to play their first league match in a month by making the trip to Buchan to take on league leaders Fraserburgh.
However, just as their last two games against Fraserburgh and Rothes were cancelled due to Covid issues in their squad, Jags have again been forced to admit defeat to the effects of the virus.
The Bellslea Park clash is now off, the seventh Highland League game to be shelved this week - six for Covid reasons.
Buckie had been unable to train this week with just eight players available for a planned midweek session.
