Pugh (22) left the Maroons in the summer of 2016 to begin a scholarship in the United States.

The Oldmeldrum lad had signed for then-Keith manager Allan Hale from Inverurie Locos a year earlier, and impressed in a season at Kynoch Park.

He then joined a UK-based Sporting Futures USA programme, which earned him a soccer scholarship in Iowa state.

Pugh studied Business Administration at Grand View University in Des Moines, where he played for the Vikings football team.

On graduating this year, he heads home to Scotland and has agreed to sign for Buckie.

Pugh, who can play in defence or midfield, becomes the fourth Sam to join the books of the Victoria Park club, who already have Sam Urquhart, Sam Robertson and Sam Morrison in their ranks.
