The reigning champs proved too strong for bottom side Ross and Cromarty, clocking up a 9-1 victory in Evanton.

Buckie remain in second spot, just two points behind leaders Sutherland Women, with Ross County development team close behind in third with a game in hand.

Five first half goals effectively wrapped up victory for the travelling team.

Vicky Helyer added to her impressive scoring tally of late with an early opener, and she ended up scoring a second with team-mates Lori Lappin, Alicia Paterson and Skye Milne also on target before half time.

Jess Moore added number six right after the interval before the home side’s efforts were rewarded with a goal to make it 6-1.

Lappin got her second and Rheo Laurenson found the net while an own goal brought up the final Buckie tally.
