TWO of tonight's Aberdeenshire Shield quarter-finals have been postponed.

Victoria Park is waterlogged and Buckie Thistle's game is off.
Victoria Park is waterlogged and Buckie Thistle's game is off.

Buckie Thistle were due to take on Formartine United in a battle to reach the last four of the competition.

But the club announced that Victoria Park has been ruled unplayable and the tie will now be rescheduled for another date.

The winners of that match visit either Keith or Fraserburgh, whose clash at Kynoch Park tonight was still on late afternoon.

Also off is Huntly's meeting with Turriff United at Christie Park, which has been affected by frost.

In the semi-finals the winners of the Huntly tie host Inverurie Locos, who beat Aberdeen on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Harlaw Park on Tuesday night.

Calum Dingwall and Ryan Stott fired Locos into a 2-0 lead before the home side had Andy Hunter sent off.

A young Dons side hit back after the break to level through Bruce Anderson and David Dangana.

Inverurie scored all five of their spot kicks with Kevin Hanratty's miss for Aberdeen proving crucial.
