KEITH have been hit by a Covid outbreak in their squad, leading to the postponement of today's cup match.

Kynock Park was due to host today's semi-final between Keith and Fraserburgh.

The Maroons were due to host Fraserburgh in the semi-finals of last season's Aberdeenshire Cup.

But tournament organisers ADFA (Aberdeenshire and District Football Association) will noe reschedule the match for a later date.

A Keith statement read: "(Today's) semi final match against Fraserburgh FC has been postponed due to a number of the Keith FC players testing positive for Covid-19.

"The tickets that have been purchased on our online ticketing system will be valid for the re-arranged match.

"However if anyone is unable to attend the re-arranged match a full refund can be obtained by contacting the club directly."

Buckie Thistle host a young Aberdeen XI today in the quarter-finals of the same competition.

The winners were scheduled to play Formartine United in the semis in midweek with the final next Saturday, a date that is unlikely to be met now as Keith players will be self-isolating for ten days.
