The public are invited to learn more and have their say on the vision to connect the Buchan towns to Aberdeen by rail this week.

Campaign For North East Rail have teamed up with Banffshire and Buchan Coast MSP Karen Adam to host a public meeting to discuss their vision for a Buchan railway, which would connect Ellon, Peterhead and Fraserburgh as well as other settlements with Aberdeen.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 10, at 7pm in Peterhead's Rescue Hall (25 Prince Street).

This follows from a meeting hosted by CNER last month with councillors, business owners and other interested parties.
