Woman hospitalised after A98 road crash

A woman has been treated in hospital after she was involved in a crash on the A98 road between Boyndie and Banff.

Police, fire crews and an ambulance rushed to the accident, which happened at 9.35am and involved one vehicle.

The female driver was taken to hospital for an injury to her foot.

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers attended at a lay-by on the A98 between Boyndie and Banff at 9.35am today, after a road incident involving a woman and her car.

"She was taken to hospital for an injury to her foot."
