Last Light is a winner at Ellon Photographic Group

On Monday night (September 21) Ellon Photographic Group revealed the results of their summer competition PhotoTrek.

This was a portfolio competition where photographers submitted three images from a list of five categories, and members were joined on Zoom by judge Peter Wells of Wakefield Camera Club.

The group were impressed with his judging and say that he gave them lots of good advice on how they might improve their images moving forwards.

After some consideration, first place was awarded to Chris Long after his photograph Last Light At The Bullers earned 57 points.

The runners up were Duncan Rennie, Andy Leonard and David Jones.

At their next meeting the group will have a talk on sports photography given by Mark Pain.
