THERE promises to be fun for all the family over at Portknockie when the local bowling and tennis club hold their fun day.

Pretty much something for everyone will be the order of the day when the club throw open their doors to young and old alike from 11am onwards on Saturday, july 20.

For those who have always fancied a go at bowls tennis or, indeed, both there will be an opportunity to give the sports a try.

At 2pm a round robin bowls game will get under way.

In what promises to be a packed as well as fun day, those popping along can have a go at target bowls, skittles, fun tennis, toss a coin and putting. There will also be a wide range of kids’ games on offer.

Soup, sandwiches, homebakes and teas will be available.

Tickets cost £4 and are available from club members or on the say.
