KEITH and Dufftown Railway is holding its annual 1940s Weekend starting tomorrow.

Displays will show what life was like on the homefront, while military re-enactors will be showing weapons and equipment from the period.

Other attractions, beginning at midday, include the Sawdust Fusiliers who will be taking part in some competitive log cutting.

The fusiliers pay respect to the Canadian Forestry Corps who operated in Moray during the wartime.

In addition, there will be a genuine German 1936 Triumph Werke Nuremberg B200 motorbike on display.

The bike has been fully restored by its owner Alexander Adams after it was mysteriously found some years ago under the floorboards of a house in Fife.
