This picture of Grant Lodge in Elgin's Cooper Park was taken by Tom McPherson.

.

It was built between 1766 and 1790, to a design by the great Scottish architect Robert Adam.

Its first occupant was Sir James Grant, who was Moray's MP.

Much later, in 1903, it was gifted along with its grounds to the town.

Sadly, the building has been empty for the past 17 years.
