Six people in Westhill are celebrating today after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Brimmond Crescent neighbours netted the windfall when AB32 6RD was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Friday 8th January 2021.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners. He said: “Congratulations to all the players winning in today’s daily prize!

"Great news to hear on a Friday, I hope you enjoy spending your winnings!”

A minimum of 32 percent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of WaterAid which has received over £15.9 million worth of funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The charity is determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
