The annual awards ceremony recognises and rewards the very best wedding venues, individuals and companies in Scotland who host or contribute towards making every big day special.

The black-tie event was attended by more than 300 people and celebrated the leading wedding specialists and establishments in the industry throughout Scotland.

Rachael Ashley, events and venue manager at Aswanley, said: “We are honoured to be awarded this accolade of top Exclusive Use Wedding Venue in Scotland.

“We have been hosting weddings at Aswanley since 2007 and over the years have built a great hard-working team, who work closely with our brides and grooms to ensure every wedding is as perfect as possible.

“We would like to thank the organisers of the Scottish Wedding Awards. We are delighted that our unique and special wedding venue at Aswanley has been given this recognition.”

Aswanley is set in the Glen of Glass, close to Huntly.

The Victorian steading venue was renovated to retain its period charm and to create a flexible venue for weddings, from small intimate celebrations to larger gatherings of up to 250 people.

Aswanley holds open days twice a year where guests have the opportunity to see the venue and meet with specialists.

The next open day is scheduled for Sunday, May 4 from 11am-3pm.
