Fit Like The Day!

The Live Life Aberdeenshire's Youth Music Initiative Traditional Transitions project with Fèis Rois worked with 18 classes from Aberdeenshire primary schools to create this new song all about Aberdeenshire.

The video features 14 young musicians from primary and secondary schools who play the music with Iona Fyfe singing lead supported by a chorus of primary school pupils.

Lyrics were written by pupils from schools including Aberchirder, Easterfield, Fisherford, Daviot, Ellon, Old Rayne and Whitehills with chorus singers from Aberchirder, Old Rayne and Portlethen, while on the musical side, performers included youngsters from Logie Durno on cello, Auchterellon on violin and Rayne North on saxaphone.
