The Garioch Heritage Centre in Inverurie is playing host this weekend to creative model builders from across the Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray areas.

Exhibitors from Kinloss and Forres Model Club, Elgin Model Railway Club and Aberdeen Modellers Society are joined by several individuals in putting on a display of their work which covers subjects including aircraft, ships, tanks, trains and meccano.

This includes several working layouts in different scales of railway scenes, with engines, rolling stock and vehicles all adding to the realism.

Tractor and agricultural fans have a wide range of items to pick from provided by Powell's Country Store, located near Banff.

The centre is open on Sunday from 10-4 and entry to the exhibition is free for Under 16s and £5 adults.
