Waste service restarts bulk uplifts

Aberdeenshire's waste services have restarted the bulky uplift for household materials, with collections beginning on Monday, September 14.

Slots are more limited than before the Covid-19 pandemic, but the service believes this is a positive step in the phased approach to reintroducing waste services.

The service has also now resumed the sale of home compost bins.

These come in two sizes - small (320 litres) and large (800 litres) and include home delivery in the cost.
