She has been serving Cats Protection for over 30 years, latterly as their 'Tombola queen.'

Saturday also marked her 80th birthday for which Cats Protection's star baker Lindsay Fraser had baked a magnificent cake.

Treasurer Alison Duncan was pleased to report a total of £793 was raised and the next Cats Protection event is at Easter on Saturday, April 8 in Alford community hall.
