Cullen road to close this week as Buckie road closures due to end





A Cullen road is due to close due to tree works.

Moray Council are scheduled to begin work opposite 6 Blantyre Street on Monday which is scheduled to last through Tuesday, as well. A diversion will be in place following the route Blantyre Street, Seafield Place, Reidhaven Street, Sea Street and Blantyre Street.

Over in Findochty, opposite 26 New Street, the council will be starting verge works by Monday for two working days.

A section of Seafield Street in Buckie, outside Nos 5-6, should reopen by Wednesday as Scottish Water work to replace a broken toby.

The firm are also scheduled be on Commercial Road in the town until Wednesday at the latest, to fix a sunken manhole cover on the westbound carriageway.

Openreach are due to have started work outside 3 Douglas Crescent in Buckie by Monday to install a new duct to provide a new fibre service. This should last a maximum of three working days.

Still on Douglas Crescent, this time at 92, the firm will be conducting similar work at those times.

Between March Road via the Maltings to the A98 east of Station Cottages, Rathven SSEN will begin two working days of work from March 19 to undertake reconductoring work.

Also, in the same vein, the company will be starting work for one working day on the C43l from Main Road in Rathven to the A98 near Connage from March 19.

Outside 2 Barhill Road, Buckie Openreach should have completed work to install a new fibre duct by Monday.

Further up the road, at the entrance to the cemetery, the council are due to get resurfacing work on the go by Monday for three working days.
