WORLD-FAMOUS dance group Vengaboys are set to play in Elgin next spring.

The Dutch fourpiece, famous for their songs Boom Boom Boom Boom, We Like to Party and We're Going To Ibiza, have announced on their website that they are due to play at the town's Cooper Park on April 16, 2022.

The 'Family Easter Festival' is listed as part of the Vengaboys' world tour, which starts tomorrow in California and visits Germany, Italy and various locations across the UK.

Details of the gig are yet to be fully confirmed, with Moray Council adding that the license is "open for consultation".

A spokesperson for the council said: “We can confirm we have received an application for a temporary Public Entertainment Licence for Cooper Park, which is currently open for consultation via our licensing portal."
