Vehicles of bygone era set for Classic Car Experience in Banff

The Classic Car Experience returns to Banff on Saturday, August 13.
The event is organised by the town's Rotary Club and will see a variety of vehicles exhibited, which people will have the opportunity to travel in.
It will be held at St Mary's Car Park from 11am.
There is something for every taste – from a Chevrolet Stingray to a Morris Minor Traveller, with a Triumph Stag, Saab Convertible, VW Beetle, a 1973 Morris Minor and many other favourites all in the mix alongside an array of motorcycles from all periods.
For a donation to Rotary Club funds, visitors can travel in the car of their choice, chauffeured by the owner.
Marco Crameri, the event organiser owns a couple of classic cars and has seen over the years the fun created for visitors who reminisce, often about childhood family cars, or a much-loved car belonging to family member.
He said: “Classic cars mean something special to everyone and often take people back to thoughts of their first car – or maybe a parent, or even a grandparent's much-loved car.
"Whether it be the gleaming chrome or the smell of the leather seats, all these things take us back to special times in our lives.”
Attendees will be able to enjoy refreshments throughout the day, with the Classic Car Experience running until 3pm.
They should also be on the lookout for some special visitors.
