Two charged after 119mph driving incident on A947 near Turriff

Two cars detected traveling together at 119mph on the A947 near Turriff on Sunday night by Aberdeen Road Policing officers have seen both driver aged 18 and 20 reported for dangerous driving.

The incident comes after a recent rise in anti-social driving in and around the town, which has prompted a raft of comments from locals on social media, in particular over known vehicles and the actions of their owners.
