Alleged crime in Moray:- Two brothers charged with attempted murder

Two brothers have appeared in court on successive days charged with attempted murder following an incident in Keith on Sunday.

Gary Low appeared in private today at Inverness Sheriff Court on a total of four charges.

As well as attempted murder, these charges included assault, assault to injury, and refusing to leave licensed premises.

The 29-year-old made no plea to all the allegations which related to an incident at the Commercial Hotel.

Kevin Low appeared in private at the same court yesterday on a total of seven charges.

The allegations against him comprise attempted murder, two charges of assault, assault to injury, threatening behaviour, vandalism and refusing to leave licensed premises.

The 31-year-old made no plea.

Both men were committed for further examination and released on bail.
