Moray Community Investigation Unit seizes £40,000 in cannabis and class A drugs in Rothiemay north of Huntly





Police officers seized £40,000 worth of cannabis in Moray earlier this week, with two individuals arrested.

On Wednesday 19 February 2025, officers from the Moray Community Investigation Unit executed a drugs search warrant in Rothiemay.

Cannabis worth an estimated £40,000, a quantity of Class A drugs and a knuckleduster, were seized.

A 37-year old made and a 50-year-old female were arrested, and are to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court at a later date.
