Two arrested after Keith drugs raid

TWO men have been arrested after a drugs raid on a property in Keith.

Heroin and cannabis with an estimated value of £4300 was seized from a property on Mid Street on Sunday, February 9.

Two men, both aged 25, were arrested, charged and appeared at Elgin Sherriff Court on Monday, February 10.

Constable Jamie Barclay, from the Divisional Alcohol and Violence Reduction unit, said: "Drugs continue to present a danger to our community so it is great to remove a large quantity from circulation and take action against those involved.

"I would encourage anyone with information about drug dealing in the community to get in touch."
