Turriff's British Red Cross shop set to reopen

A popular north-east charity shop is set to welcome back customers and volunteers next week.

The British Red Cross shop in Turriff will open its doors once again on Monday after internal changes were made to accommodate customers.

Store manager Emma Dow said: "As of Monday,we are back in business.

"Due to the ongoing crisis, things look a wee bit different inside the shop.

"We now have a lot more space to allow for social distancing and a sale rale which may be permanent.

"We also have hand sanitiser available, and a nice big donation station for customers to drop your lovely goodies off into."

She explained: "We have lost our fitting room, but have a great 30 day refund policy, and have screens at our till point to help everyone stay safe and of course we have some gorgeous clothing available at the moment, with some stunning sunny colours to brighten up your day.

"There is a maximum number of customers we can allow in the shop, which will be two at any one time but please don't let that put you off, we have missed each and every one of you.

"On a final note we would ask that anyone who would like to bring us a donation phones ahead on 01888 568209 this is to ensure we have space for your items."
