VARIETY was the theme for the meeting of Kemnay's Tuesday centre group this week when they met in the Friendship Room of the village hall.

Local singer-songwriter and poet Aaron Jones delighted his audience with renditions of guitar instrumentals, folk and country songs.

Inverurie-based writer Griselda McGregor gave accounts of some of her travels in Europe, including Scandinavia and Russia, and her contacts with Ukranian friends, now sadly lost.

The centre's next meeting will take place on June 28.
