Three teens arrested in Buckie after vehicle thefts

THREE teenagers have been arrested in Buckie after an investigation into a housebreaking and vehicle thefts.

Two cars and a van were stolen from the PCH Garage in Railway Terrace, with a further theft from a car in North Pringle Street, Buckie. The incidents took place yesterday.

A woman, aged 19, has been arrested and charged and is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today. Two male youths, aged 14 and 15, have been arrested and charged and will be reported to the children’s reporter.

Detective Sergeant John Lumsden said: "I am sure the Buckie community will be concerned by these crimes. However, arrests have been made and all three vehicles have been recovered.

"I would like to thank members of the public for their co-operation and continued support."
