A96 near Fochabers - Three days of roadworks to improve road’s surface at Dramlachs layby





Motorists are being warned that roadworks will be taking place on a busy stretch of the A96 this week.

Amey is improving the surface of the road, next to the Dramlachs layby near Fochabers, from Wednesday, April 2 until Friday, April 4.

The work, being undertaken on behalf of Transport Scotland, will also see the layby itself resurfaced.

Maintenance will be carried out under overnight convoy between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night.

Work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Friday, April 4.

All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
