Next generation enjoy football thanks to Turriff United

Youngsters from the tiniest tots to active toddlers were the special guests of Turriff United Football club this week when they enjoyed a session of football at the team's ground at the Haughs.

A spokesperson for the club said: "Here at the club, we always like helping out the different groups within the local community where we can and today we had a visit from some of the kids and staff from Flowerpots Nursery in Turriff.

"During the summer, the nursery have a different theme each week, and this week it is sports week so they came down for a kick about and a look about the ground.

"The kids had a fantastic time and they even had a visit from ‘Moo the Coo’ .

"It was great to see them all having so much fun and it looked like there could be a couple of future stars in the making .

"Thank you Diana and the rest of the staff for bringing the kids along."
