Temporary closures for works at north-east recycling centres

Aberdeenshire Council is set to carry out work at four north-east recycling centres which will necessitate closing them to the public for a day at a time.

Turriff HWRC will be closed on Friday, November 6 and Friday 20.

A spokesman for the council said; "We are undertaking works at certain recycling centres in November and some will need to close for the works, however, this should not be for more than one day at a time.

"No bookings will be made available for the scheduled works days.

"If we need to cancel bookings at short notice, we will notify people of this by email.

"Pedestrian access will not be available at the centres as follows: Fraserburgh on Monday, November 9 and Monday 23; Laurencekirk on Monday, November 16; Turriff on Friday, November 6 and Friday 20 and Westhill on Thursday, November 12 and Thursday 26.
