Turriff Boating Pond is now open for the 2021 season.

The official opening took place on Friday, and will be open every Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting) between 11am and 5pm until the end of the season.

Despite the annual May Day extravaganza being cancelled for the second year, the boats are also open today (Monday) for the bank holiday.

The boats will be open daily - weather permitting - during the school summer holidays.

The boating pond is looked after by Friend Of The Boating Pond volunteers and this year is operated by Lucy Paterson, Bethany Alton and Lila Fallon who are excited to welcome people back to the boats.

Following lots of requests from visitors the boat shed now accepts card payments as well as cash.
